 Mohammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan, a Pakistan wicketkeeper and batsman, scored his first century for Multan Sultans against Karachi Kings on Wednesday, continuing his remarkable performance in PSL 2023.

In three of his first four tournament games, Rizwan had scored a fifties and remained undefeated in the other. Rizwan got off to a good start on Wednesday, scoring fifty off 42 balls.

After that, he turned up the heat and hit his fifty in just 18 balls. With 10 fours and 4 sixes, Rizwan made 110 from 64 balls to remain unbeaten.

In an 85-run partnership with Shan Masood for the first wicket, Rizwan was outscored by 51 runs from 33 balls. Rizwan assumed responsibility for increasing the scoring rate after Masood left.

Masood stated during the middle of the innings break that he wanted to relieve Rizwan of the burden of quickly scoring runs.

"It was somewhat comforting. The only batter who did not score was me. "It was important to relieve Rizwan of that pressure," the left-handed batsman stated.

"I kept telling him I could fight the bowlers," I said. He is a special player and currently ranks among the world's best batters.

However, Multan was unable to surpass 200 runs and had to settle for 196-2. Rilee Rossouw made 29 out of 21 attempts but could not get going.
